Challenge
A two-person team (a baker and a developer-in-training) needed a multi-tenant Laravel app that bakeries could sign up for, manage their inventory in, and be billed monthly through Stripe — all inside a 10-day window before a regional trade show.
Approach
Laravel 11 + Livewire 3, deployed to Railway with Postgres. Spatie permissions for role-based access. Stripe Cashier for subscription billing. A tenant-scoped admin dashboard for the team and a per-tenant dashboard for each bakery. Seeded with sample data the team could demo at the show.
Outcome
Shipped on day 9. Demoed at the trade show on day 10. Fourteen bakeries signed up in the first month, $1.2k MRR by month three, and the team is now adding their second feature without our help.
