Challenge

A solo educator with a 14k-person newsletter audience needed to ship a paid cohort course platform — student onboarding, payment, lesson drip, Zoom session scheduling, and a private community feed — before their announce email went out.

Approach

Next.js 15 + Supabase, Stripe Checkout for the $499 tier, scheduled lesson drips via Supabase cron, Zoom OAuth for session links generated per cohort, and a Discord webhook for the community feed. Anonymous waitlist on day 1 so we could collect demand while still building.

Outcome

Shipped on day 8. The announce email went out on day 9, the cohort sold out by day 11, and the first session ran flawlessly two weeks later. The educator has since reused the same scaffold for two follow-on cohorts.

Build something like this

Pick a plan and we'll be in your repo by Friday.

Different idea, same playbook: send a brief, we scaffold, wire auth and Stripe billing, deploy, hand over the GitHub repo plus a Loom walkthrough.
