Challenge
A wellness creator with a TikTok audience needed a journaling MVP — daily prompts, streak tracking, mood charts, and an optional $4.99 / month "premium prompts" tier — before her next launch video.
Approach
Next.js 15 on Vercel, Firebase Auth + Firestore, Stripe Checkout for the premium tier, OneSignal for push reminders, and SVG-based streak charts. Anonymous mode for new users with a soft paywall after seven free days.
Outcome
Live in 9 days. 4,500 monthly active users by week eight, with a 6.2% paid-tier conversion. Zero production incidents during launch week. The creator now ships her own feature commits using the README we left behind.
